The calculations are precise enough to use it in a scientific context, and that alone is invaluable, as there is no other asset which does that. However, you can really tell this asset has not aged well and has not been updated in a long time. The Lens Flare does not work on URP and the interaction with other directional light sources is pretty wonky at times. A lot of the stuff is hidden deep within in the source code or even json files, making it hard to modify any of it. I noticed a lot of these flaws when I was trying to add a moonlight so the night is not pitch black. That being said, under no circumstances I would let this asset go deprecated. Its functionality is still unique and it is the best and only solution if you are aiming for hyperrealistic lighting conditions for whatever reason. You must be tired of tweaking directional lights for hours on end. Well this one is just perfect. The sky changes hew upon sunrise and sunset. One of the BEST assets I've ever bought. Not to mention, it's literally one third of a megabyte in size. Just buy it and never mess with another lighting system again. =) - Cannot thank the publisher enough as this asset is still my direct go-to after years and years. You have to change the editor script or get rid of it. But time is available as time in hours only anyway. The manual shows you how to set the time in minutes, hours and seconds via scripting: SunLight.SetTime(int, int, int) Sets time in human-readable format (Hours : int, Minutes : int, Seconds : int) You could write a script as simple as this one, if you want to set minutes and seconds in inspector: using System.Collections; using System.Collections.Generic; using UnityEngine; using Hessburg; [ExecuteInEditMode] public class ChangeTimeInInspector : MonoBehaviour { public int hour; public int minute; public int second; public SunLight SunLight; void Update() { SunLight.SetTime(hour, minute, second); } } But this would always run the Update loop which is a waste of processing power. (Just look at some of the other reviews. Everyone says the same... "The attention to detail is simply beautiful." VR. I have tried it in VR, and can honestly say, it felt, and looked like I was standing beside a real Cutter. I had it docked, at my dock.. <(would you believe.) And just stood there 3 feet from it- (mouth open) -looking up at the full size sails and the flag flying, the shine of the metal, and the feeling of "being there."
